Terms of Service
By accessing and using GhostieChat, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of our anonymous messaging platform and ensure that all users participate respectfully and responsibly.
Last Updated: May 25, 2025
These terms outline your responsibilities, our limitations of liability, and your rights when using GhostieChat. Your anonymity and safety are important to us, but so is maintaining a respectful and lawful environment.
1. Anonymous Participation
GhostieChat is designed for completely anonymous, casual conversations. We do not store personal identities or require registration. However, you must not share any personal, financial, or identifiable information while using the service.
2. Content Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for the content they share. You must not transmit any offensive, illegal, harmful, or misleading content. GhostieChat does not monitor conversations and disclaims any liability for user-generated content.
3. Use at Your Own Risk
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not offer moderation, protection from harmful messages, or legal guarantees. Use of GhostieChat is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
4. Prohibited Activities
Users must not use GhostieChat to engage in illegal activity, harassment, abuse, or to impersonate others. Any such actions may result in IP bans or reporting to legal authorities, though we typically do not track users.
5. Platform Limitations
GhostieChat does not guarantee uptime, message delivery, or continuous availability. As a free anonymous service, outages or data loss may occur, and we assume no responsibility for missed communications.
6. No Data Storage
We do not store chat histories, user profiles, or personal information. Once a chat ends or is disconnected, the data is permanently lost. This is intentional to support complete anonymity.
7. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted here, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of those changes.
